BOMBELLI creates leather goods as an ideal of maritime life. Drawing inspiration from centuries-old seafaring expertise, the project assigns new uses to the materials favored by sailors through architectural volumes with playful and ingenious spans.

Protean, resilient, and durable: bold lines and vibrant colors express a confident sensuality. By juxtaposing unique materials and innovative systems, the project thus sketches a first chapter inspired by sailors for the lives of landlubbers.
By manufacturing each piece in limited series by hand in France and Italy using the best hands and raw materials, the project puts quality and durability at the heart of its thinking.
A comprehensive quality approach.
Neoprene and leather are mostly upcycled from surplus stock from major French luxury brands, certified by the Leather Working Group, ISO 9001 & REACH. Ropes and metal parts sourced from the maritime industry are manufactured in France by leading companies in the sector.
Creation rhymes with human responsibility.
By donating a portion of its profits to SOS Méditerranée,
the project is committed to a major European non-profit organization and contributes, on its own scale, to search and rescue at sea.

Arnaud Bombelli is graduatd from Olivier de Serres, Duperré, and Institut Français de la Mode (IFM). He worked for over ten years for French and international fashion and luxury houses, where he was in charge of bag and shoe collections. He observed and learned the demands of the industry and focused on how objects are presented and made.
"Behind the walls, always the sea"
The ocean plays a crucial role in the construction of the project: synonymous with ultimate freedom and the link between man and the elements where time is suspended, it is this rich and poetic universe which triggered in 2021 - moored for six weeks in the Caribbean - his desire to create BOMBELLI.
Arnaud decides to use his experiences, his endless passion for the ocean and his taste for travel, cinema, French pre-romantic painting and Italian sculpture to write his own story.

Beyond the walls, always the sea. The ocean propels them to the ends of the worlds. Carried by the powerful winds they go looking for the unfindable. The knotted ropes weave a link between their life and their glass ship. There where the spine straightens to dance with the waves. With a lively mind without artifice they dare and they invent. They will live stronger intoxicated by their imaginary countries.

Al di là delle mura, ancora il mare. The ocean li's back to the end of the world. Transported by potentiated winds, it remains in the air. The cord annodates tessono a legacy tra le loro vite e il loro vascello. There dove the dorsal spine if it tends to dance with the wave, Inventano and osano the spirito vivace, senza artifici. Continue to live stronger, inebriati dai loro paesi immaginari.
